+++ Started out as a pianist in his brother`s band in Chicago +++ Formed his own trio by 1939 +++ Started recording for CAPITOL records in 1944 +++ His career lasted throughout the 40s, 50's and 60's until his death because of lung cancer in 1965 +++ His major hits included "Nature boy", "Mona Lisa", "Orange colored sky" (with Stan Kenton), "Unforgettable" and dozens of others +++
