+++ Recorded (and wrote) the tribute to the bass singers in vocal groups, "Hey Mr. Bassman", for KAPP records in 1963 +++ Had further hits on BANG under the name of Derek in the late 60s with "Cinnamon" and "Back door man" +++ By the way, the bassman on "Hey Mr. Bassman" was Ronald Bright of "Who put the bomp" fame (Barry Mann 1961) +++
