Born: Don - February 1, 1937 / Phil - January 19, 1939

+++ Started singing professionally on their parents radio show in 1945 +++ Recorded their first single, "Keep a lovin' me" for COLUMBIA records in 1956 +++ Their string of hits began in 1957, when they recorded for the CADENCE label - "Bye Bye Love", "Wake up little Susie", "All I have to do is dream" and countless others +++ Most of their hits were written by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant +++ Changing to the new WARNER BROTHERS label in 1960, they scored with "Cathy's Clown", "Ebony eyes" and "Crying in the rain" +++
