SongMeister's Songfest 6- Main Page
I told ya I would get around
to starting the next quiz. It should be done in a few days if the planets
stay aligned.
Okay, the planets misaligned somewhat. Parts 1, 4, 6 & 7 are done. The
rest will follow soon.
Lead on McDuff.
These Are Da Rules (read them, they are different
from Songfest 5)
Read the rules carefully so as to not forfeit any points in the
quiz.
Once again, I must first confess that I am not the originator
of this quiz. I do not know the originator's name, I only have an address.
He or she knows who they are and I send him/her my thanks.
Now on to the rules of the game. The rules are the same as always, but
as we know, change is the only constant.
- You are given a lyric from a song. From this snippet of information
you must always give the name of the song.
- If there is an asterisk (*) in front of the lyric then you must also
give the performer's name.
- If there is a pound sign (#) in front of the lyric then you must also
give the songwriter(s) name(s).
- If there is an at sign (@) in front of the lyric then the song title
is worth two points.
- If there is an exclaimation point (!) in front of the lyric then you
will lose a point if you get the song title wrong so don't answer if you
are not sure.
- If there is a dollar sign ($) in front of the lyric then you must also
give the name of the album the song is originally from.
- If there is a percent sign (%) in front of the lyric then this is the
opening line of the song (hint).
- If there is ampersand (&) in front of the lyric then it is the
opinion of the original author of this quiz that this is a good song.
- There are 7parts to this particular quiz, each part may or may not
have a theme.
- You can send in your answers piecemeal or all at once. In either case
make sure you give the PART # and the QUESTION
# for each answer. (note: also state what quiz the answer is for).
- I will always accept that last answer sent in even if it is changing
a previous answer that was correct.
- Once answers start coming in I will post a status/statistics page.
- The deadline for this quiz is December 1, 1997 (my parent's anniversary)..
- There is no prize to be won other than the posting of all participants
scores at the end of the contest.
- Don't worry about the scoring as it will be the same for everyone.
