NARNIA - AWAKENING
I'm fond of saying that rock and roll has got to move. Well, this album not
only moves, it flies. This is fast becoming one of my favorites. What we
have here is progressive melodic metal, and if you like great guitar work
you should love this. Absolutely everything on here is good and some of
it is down right great. The album starts off with two solid rockers BREAK
THE CHAINS and NO MORE SHADOWS FROM THE PAST. After that it goes into the
albums only instrumental track which does a good job of showcasing the
excellent guitar work of this band. There are some slower moments on the
album but even those are well constructed and have some really nice guitar
work. Those who've heard the music of IMPELLITERI and were very impressed
may want to check out this album too. Once again, this is an independent
release and will have to be obtained through a dealer in independent
Christian rock. As usual I can recommend Radrockers (look for the link
below). It is currently available for $17 on CD.
