IMPELLITTERI - EYE OF THE HURRICANE/VICTIM OF THE SYSTEM
What we have here is music that is heavy, fast, and melodic. The songs are solid metal, with plenty
of speed riffing and soloing. This is due to the fantastic guitar work of Chris Impellitteri. It's nothing if
not fast and furious. The lyrics are well thought out and delivered very well by veteran lead vocalist
Rob Rock. This band is sort of what you might get if you combined the music of Metallica with a
band like Shout or Angelica. This is just a very good double album set and a must have for those
who love progressive metal. The CDs contains sixteen songs. Eleven on Eye of the hurricane, and
five on Victim of the system which was originally released as an EP. It is available now with a limited
number of pressings from Radrockers for $22.00. It may be a little spendy but I think you'll find that
it's worth it.
