A lot can be done in 7 years, and we did…

Admittedly amateurs, with little (or no) musical training, we went from garage, to rehearsal studio, to stage, making our live debut at the legendary El Mocambo back in 1998!

Friendship, our love of music, and the need to create fuelled our development as a unit, and as individuals. But the tides of change have reached our shores, and as one of my favorite artists once said, “One day every pebble hits the beach.”

In departing, I take with me fond memories, friendships, and a profound sense of achievement that would not have been possible without the support of all those people who shared in my passion for creating music, the many bands that shared the stage with us, and those who attended our shows.

The name "Shatterday" has ceased to be simply out of the mutual agreement that should any member leave, the name would be retired.

Throughout the years, I maintained this website with the intent of paying homage to the creative achievements of past and present members of the band, and will leave only the History page (click on ENTER button below) as continued tribute and show of appreciation.

Sincerely,

Julio Razquin
