R&B Krazy! Frankie Links

An R&B/Soul balladeer Frankie's musical career started when he hooked up with his mentor/discoverer Chucky Thompson (who produced many of the recent smash hits sung by artists such as TLC, Faith Evans, Mary J. Blige, etc.). Although his vocal style covers a wide range of R&B music, from slow to uptempo, old-school to contemporary, he seems to come across best when he sings sensual/mellow numbers. Frankie's debut album (released in 1997) "My Heart Belongs To You" (produced by Chucky Thompson) is a collection of carefully selected slow ballads and it is probobly one of the best R&B albums to perfect your romantic evening. The album is also distinguished by the great guest artists, 112, Mary J. Blige, and Faith Evans. Unfortunately he hasn't got the publicity that he deserves yet, mainly due to the lack of promotion. I wonder why people are still sleeping on this great artist with a silky smooth voice and incredible singing skills. I strongly recommend Frankie to all the R&B lovers! (Teo)
