Weird sleeve
Orbital - In Sides

The most innovative and complete album I've ever listened to. Completely unpredictible, weird beats, beautiful, weird melodies and transitions. Superb production. It touches the deepest emotions inside you. When I'm listening to Dwr Budr, I'm always near crying (especially the first part, that backwards voice just gets to me). Adnan's makes me remeber the past. Out there somewhere is near perfection, a long song (13 mins) but never boring ! In sides is a reflection of good equipment used by people with really great ideas.

That's him
John Beltran
Earth & nightfall
Beautiful, layered sounds of groovy ambient, sounds of eletronic instruments mixed with classical guitar, sounds of nature. What a great guy! Every single tone is in it's place on this album. It is not so innovative though, but very inspirative, emotionally triggering. I could watch the clouds all day long istening to Nitric feeling relief and almost ecstacy. Do not listen to it if you have even small suicidal tendencies.

Nice sleeve
Outer space compilation vol. 3

Some great tracks here. From slow ambient style of Aotearoa, innovative ambient experience of Nionica, and totaly scary and very spacial song called Laudanum (great production there, almost like film music) to somewhat more groovy ambient songs Space 444 and Mackenzietherapy. It seems that the guys from Disturbance are in search of new sounds in the cyberspace. A great job from the (mostly) Italian authors on this compilation.

Sick sleeve
The Future Sound Of London - Dead Cities

Weird, someone would say very hard music. Again the F.S.O.L. make new standards in music. This could be the sound of the future. Unrecognized beats, weird breaks, ... One of the best CD's I've ever heard. It uncovers totally the darkness of a drug (self)abused musician. Songs are full of sounds, constantly changing, almost nervous. It seems that, the end of civilization is very near according to their beliefs. I think that the end of music is very near.

Great two blokes

Beautiful sleeve

Just a short EP(cd) but shows great knowledge in sound. It's jazzy ambient style, with great bass which tears your stomach apart (excellent production). It's my "driving music". I enjoy driving while listening to it. Very relaxing, not so complex, and ear demanding. It's just a great cd :)

Heavenly sleeve
Mousiques pour les plantes vertes

The best selected and prepared compilation around. Eleven great ambient tunes, for you to listen in your bedroom, chilling out. From the dark ScanX's tune Turmoil to the almost classical music in Nova nova's Tones featuring beautiful piano melodies, and the touchy song from The Reminiscent Drive's I want to remember this moment always. The usual F-Comm production, the sounds and the quality of the recording is extraordinary.

Space, the final frontier
Autechre - Amber

These are the guys who make alien music. I think they are aliens, really. Autechre are make totally new and innovative music, playing with sound like no other ambient artists. Amber is, in my opinion, their best album. It is less experimental than their new work (Chiastic slide). It adds new dimensions to sound in general, intelligently using vintage anolog equipment. All of the 11 songs are excellent, and their beautiful, spacy melodies have triggered my emotions like no other ambient album.

Great design sleeve
LFO- Advance
This new album from LFO is in constant change. It flows from darkish ambience, over some trancy tunes, to even industrial. The whole trip is a bit too dark for me. The sounds change a lot, they don't like using samples they've already played with. Some nice melodies in Shove piggy..?. and Forever. It's a good album, but I don't understand it.

The best sleeve i've seen !
B12 - Timetourist

It's the sound of the 23rd century. 10 extremely good tunes, all of them in some futuristic, groovy ambient trip. Highly innovative and somewhat experimental, the Time tourist resembles to some works of Autechre and the Future sound of London, but combines all the good sides of both. It is beautifuly relaxing and tripping music, one that makes you think ... of the future. Digital and analog sounds tear up your stomach on this one. Great production. This is also a CD with the best cover art I've seen. Alien like, futuristic design of the sleeve improves the whole trip of the album, the story behind it.
