The first show was very short; only 31 minutes. Some people travelled all the way from Germany and Belgium, so they were kind of disappointed. The band ROCKED and seemed to be having a good time. the setlist for the first show was: IF YOU DON'T LOVE ME/ PLEASE THE GHOST/ EYES ON THE CEILING/ SPACEY AND SHAKIN/ NORTHERN BOUND TRAIN/ BRAKEMAN
It seems that the band had some minor problems playing the new material, but they got away with it. A lot of new fans were made during this show.
The second night of the european tour in Utrecht was much better. Not only did the band play about 10 minutes longer, they also seemed to be having much more fun on the stage. From outside we could hear the soundcheck, which consisted about the entire new album (next to the songs they did that evening - Blindly/ I Want To Go Away etc.) The band rocked even harder and Pete broke two strings during the set. The setlist for the show at the Tivoli was: SPACEY AND SHAKIN/ MOTORKID/ EYES ON THE CEILING/ PLEASE THE GHOST/ EVAN'S RADIO/ NORTHERN BOUND TRAIN/ SONG 4/ IF YOU DON'T LOVE ME
Pete will be back with his band at the end of the month and will be doing a headlining tour in europe in august/september.
