Calling's Road has recently moved to Athens, Ohio, and is currently holding auditions and rehearsals there for future performances.  The move took place when lead guitarist/co-founder Carl Gonzalez enrolled last fall at Ohio University.  Over the summer, bassist Jim English and singer Ken Bodine continued to rehearse and perform with the band on occassion, but all that changed in the early fall of 1999, when Jim was injured at work.  He did some damage to his wrist that will make him unable to play the bass guitar again.  With the departure of Jim from the picture, Carl and Bob Gonzalez decided the time was right to make the jump down to Athens with the band.  They quickly found a bass player named Russell Koenig, and began searching for another guitarist and a singer.  After a long search, the band settled on Andy Smeltz from Columbus as a guitarist, and Ken Bodine will continue to sing with the band, as he is expected to attend Ohio University in the fall.
