Hi there. I am Niallse and this in my homepage! Obvious or what!! First of all just a little bit about me. I am a 25 year old Irish lad, who is now living in London,UK. I moved to the UK in 1994 where I went to University at the University of Wales Institute Cardiff, or UWIC for short. There I studied and successfully graduated in July 1997 with a second class Honours degree in Applied Human Nutrition. In the September of that year I started my first job as a Nutritionist. I was employed by the Office for National Statistics (O.N.S.) to work on the National Dietary and Nutritional Study of Young People aged 4 - 18 Years. Unfortunately I can't tell you anymore about that job, as it was "top secret", but if you insist I suppose I could whisper it to you, but then I would have to kill you! LMAO. Since June 1998 I have been employed as Site Nutritionist by The Imperial College School of Medicine, Dept of Epidemiology and Public Health to work on a highly prolific nutritional study called INTERMAP, more information on this can be found in the link that i will provide later! Don't worry i won't have to kill you if you this info!! LOL.

Ok thats enough of the academia stuff. What about me. Well I am a bit of a hypocrite really. I LOVE chocolate, chips (or fries to you in the States) and all that yummy stuff, but of course I expect you to keep this to yourselves as it wouldn't do my reputation as a nutritionist any good if this became general knowledge! Doh!!!! Well my real name is not Niallse, thats just a nickname given to me by a friend at Uni (thanks Gav) for reasons which will become obvious later. My real name is Michael, strange that being Irish and all. It seems to be a thing with Irish parents of boyz. They seem to have a limited choice of names for their kids. I.E. Patrick, Seamus, Sean or Michael, but thats cool as a really like my name anyway. Better than George or Rupert for exmple. Sorry if i have just offended anyone!!! Anyway I was brought up in an area of Northern Ireland called Craigavon (for the most part not a very nice area, though don't get me wrong I had a very happy childhood. Only thing missing was a bro or sis, but that didn't happen so I just got on with being a kid, as you do! When I was 14 we (my Mum, Dad and me) moved to a place called Bleary, only about 2 miles from Craigavon, but a much nicer area. And it was here that I lived until leaving in 1994. My parents actually still live there. I still have a lot of really good friends there, but unfortunately only go home about twice a year what with work commitments etc.
