Checked out a lion dance troupe here yesterday. Might go and learn with them while I'm here, so at least I can do something productive? They train on Fridays and Sundays. Checking out another one today, but that one's more kungfu plus lion dance. They prac on Saturdays and Sundays. Also Mondays and Fridays, but thas kungfu only. Maybe I still might go and learn cuz I been slackin.
Tmrw gonna go to Vegas with my mom! It's hella fun, we go and watch all these shows and stuff. I not 21 yet, so can't gamble yet again. Blub! But thas okie, I think I might be a gamble-holic if I could gamble.

Oh so we had to order hella digital prints cuz my mom bought a photo album for my brother's graduation and we wanted to fill it up with actual pictures right, and I found this hella good site www.winkflash.com. Yanno, I went to the UC Davis Department of Engineering's award thingie where they give out Departmental Citations and stuff for the academically outstanding students cuz my brother was receiving an award right...and when they present the award to the person, they tell you about the person's accomplishments and stuff liddat. It's like woah. Those are the kind of people who should go onto Masters and Ph.D. stuff. That sort of calibre. Made me think that hell nah I'm not gonna go for Master's anytime soon. Like I'm not gonna kid myself. There are ppl who are just grad material and ppl who are not.
Anyway, it's not like I was planning to go for Masters anyway. Just one more year to slog and I'm done with this kind of education.

Yay, got an air compressor today! It's a Campbell Hausfeld air compressor with 2 gallon tank. Like max 100 psi, but I was testing it and I only need like around 20 psi for airbrushing. Costed $99.99 plus tax at Harbor Freight Tools, plus I needed to buy a water trap attachment for five bucks. Yuppo. All I need is some paint and I can start airbrushing! :) Johnny's not gonna be teaching the summer session for autobody painting so I guess I won't be painting cars like I planned. :P
My parents are cooking bah kut teh..but they're using ox tail instead of pork bah so I guess it's oxtail kut teh. But it still smells just as bad! Bah kut teh saaahhhh-kkkkssss.

Dude! I was looking through my old boxes of stuff in storage at my brother's place and I realized I kept a lot of useless stuff! I only looked through 4 out of like 9 boxes so far. So I guess I'll be trying to sell some stuff on Ebay and I gotta find a used bookstore around here, see if they wanna buy some books. The rest gotta donate to Salvation Army or something. Next week we're going back to my brother's place so I guess I'll clear up the rest then.
I found a couple of my old diaries, starting from when I was around 6th grade. I was STUPID! Jeez. Like every entry was about boys and gossip, and I thought ppl were biotches for liking the same guy as me. What the hell man? I guess that was how it was in elementary school. Like it was a hella big deal to know who someone liked and blah blah blah. Anyway, it was embarrassing to read. Haha.
We were passing by Ardenwood the other day, so we stopped by Forest Park to cham goon. Mr. Hogan and Mr. Ford are still there. :) It was cool, but it kinda makes me wonder if they really remember me or they just pretend.
Great America! Haven't been there since...well. The last time I remember is on the 8th grade field trip? I'm not sure if there was another time after that. Anyway. It wasn't really that fun. Like roller coasters aren't scary, they just bang your head around..and the wait in line is so not worth it. The park seemed hella smaller than before too. Guess we've grown up?
I went to Yurika's house and her parents had a BBQ going, it was hella good. Yurika made these o-nigiri(?) thingies (rice balls) and BBQ'd them so the rice on the outside is crispy. Yum. Colo is getting old and is losing his hearing. :(

Well, when you don't have a car handy, you gotta use your good ol' legs to get you places. I think we walked pretty far, pretty much walking for five hours or so, including in the shops and stuff. But it was cool cuz the weather was hella great today, sunny but cool and windy. Like if I walked like that in Singapore, I'd be sweating buckets and if I walked like that in Vancouver, I'd be cold as hell. So not having a car to get around allowed me to enjoy the weather today. Quel.
Tomorrow's the finals for American Idol..go Bo! Oh, time to watch Jay Leno! bye bye.

Wah sei..who knew that people in Washington actually follow the speed limit. My mom and I were on the carpool lane on I-5 North outta Seattle heading towards Vancouver. The speed limit on I-5 switches between 60 and 70 mph depending on which stretch you're on. And well, we were in a 60 mph zone going 78 apparently. Chiew. The lady cop was all hella pissed, like "I would think that if you're a visitor to this state, you'd take more notice of our laws and not try to draw attention to yourself!". But dude, it's not like we're deliberately trying to disrespect your state. We just didn't know you all follow the damn speed limit. She's got something against out-of-towners..she was like "Maybe you can get away with that kinda speed in California, but not here!". Like cuz in California the speed limit is 65 in most places, but people go like 75 or 80 easy on the fast lanes. Whopping 153 bucks man.

My grandma died on the 15th. I didn't really know her that much, cept that she liked 4D and TV gameshows and can remember like all her children's and (most of?) her grandchildren's birthdays. She had 7 boys and 10 girls. Recently won a prize for having children from all of the Chinese Zodiac signs. I'm kind of indirectly sad, like only sad cuz my mom is sad, so I'm sad that she's sad. Ya dig? I haven't experienced a death of a person really close to me yet, and I don't want that to happen for a long time.

Tomorrow I'm off to Krungtheep! (aka Bangkok, for those of you who dunno.) Gonna go get my arm blasted again, then eat til my heart's content!! Yanno, this one guy sells barbecued pork and chicken on a stick for 5 baht a stick. It's helllaaaa worth it and hella good too. That plus steamed corn, sticky rice, som tam, fresh pineapple and watermelon. Good stuff!
After that, going to KL for a little bit, then off to Cali, Vancouver, back to Cali, and maybe to Utah, Vegas, NY, Virginia, and wherever else.
It's funny how eating stuff is one of the most important points of this trip. Me and my dad got a whole list made out of the places we wanna eat when we go back. :P Kie got to go pack.

Dude I think I kenna conned man. They're not really dried blueberries. More like regular preserved plum but just with blueberry flavor on the outside. The ones I bought yesterday look exactly like the ones I bought before, but I guess I've eaten so much that I kinda realized they taste like regular preserved plum. Only the smaller chunks taste like blueberry cuz they got a bigger surface area to volume ratio. GANESAI!!!

Friday night I'm going to the race track to chill and see the horsies. The race track here is really very nice actually. I went two times before with my dad. He agrees that it's nice. He used to bring me and my brother to the track back home when we were kids. Golden Gate and Bay Meadows.
I used to pick the horses based solely on their names. I remember distinctly there was one horse named Andale that I picked. My dad didn't bet on that one though, and that horse won. Turns out the name is pronounced like An-da-le, which is Spanish for fast or something liddat. Good name la no?
Anyway, so there's a race on Friday night at Kranji. That's the only one I can catch before I go on my coolass adventure for the next two months. :P And guess what, it'll be like a big ol' family outing too. I invited my ah Lun and his family to go along. His mom's like hella against betting (even though she's like a regular 4D player??), so I guess we won't be betting. I wasn't planning on betting anyway, unless there's a hella fun opportunity like last time. But I don't feel like writing about that last time. So too bad.
