First of all, it has been brought to my attention by my lovely friend Ashley that Dave actually signed my guest book! My god...and he suggested I put pictures of myself up. Well, if I find a good enough picture of myself I will...oops! There are no good pictures of me.
Some news about Dave:
I have heard that he's going to move to New York to open an office...true? I dunno.
For those of us who are impatient (ME!!!!!!!!), when is his album gonna come out?????????
Oh, and a little tidbit on me:
Erin and I did awesome at the AIDS concert (not a very big crowd, only a couple hundred or so, but that's a start), we got the crowd to sing along (it was "Hey Jude"), we got people waving their lighters, and got a standing ovation. My goal this summer- find a band!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (Not like you cared anyway!)
Also, it has been brought to my attention that Dave has done a commercial for Mtv, that lists his inspirations. Supposedly, he says "Hendrix was God!", or something like that. Oh, no, Dave. Sweet innocent Dave. You are God.
YEAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm performing at an AIDS Benefit concert on 12/3/98, in Pleasanton, California at Amador Valley High School. E-mail me if you want more details. (Oh, yeah, like you'd want them...)
Also, another milestone in my career as a Dave lover...I have had more than 1,000 hits. Gee, thanks guys...lub ya!
Well, it seems Dave has changed his website yet again. It really makes you wonder what's going through his perdy 'lil head, doesn't it? But hey, anything Dave touches turns to gold, right? (I'm just kidding by the way, don't take that seriously, for all you psychos out there.)
Okay, okay...totally Un-Dave related, but my good friend Erin and I are auditioning next Tuesday, November 10 for an AIDS benefit in the Tri-Valley area, (for those of you who don't know where that is, it's in the East Bay area of the San Francisco Bay area) and I will update if we make it. We're playing and singing our own version of "Hey Jude" by the Beatles. Well, actually, I'm playing the guitar, and she's singing (and she has THE MOST AMAZING VOICE!!!!!!).
The second issue of Dave's Unicorn Club (or whatever the heck it is called) states that his book of pictures (ya know, the photo booth pictures) is almost complete and that it may be scheduled for a June release. And, also as a return gift a kindness, he will be featuring some fans in it! Yeah!
(Also within the issue, it says that Dave came to his brother's show-and-tell as his object and played songs for the children. Aww, isn't that sweet????)
Well, our Daveypoo has started his own record company/entertainment corporation (which is destined to be greatness, I am sure) and it is now fully functioning. And who knows, maybe someday soon my band will be on his record label, though I highly doubt it. Hehe. One can hope. Besides, the style of music I play is vastly different than his. Oh well. Opposites attract, don't they?
Okay, kiddies...if you've seen the House Of Style with Dave co-hosting, you had a real treat! He talked about Rebecca's fiance (Full House's John Stamos) hair, lit things on fire, showed off his wardrobe, and much, much, more. If you missed it, in true Mtv fashion, I am sure they'll re-run it over and over and over...oh yeah, and he did wear his hat and glasses again!
"I don't do kooky faces. That's pretty much the reason why I'm not in the Chili Peppers anymore," Dave explains, after getting Kurt in the booth.
Dave also mentioned that Marilyn Manson persuaded Dave to write a book about his life, but instead Dave decided to make a book of pictures of people who got in his booth. "That's pretty much the rule," he says.
Also, Dave showed the typical rock star aspects of his place. And, yes, he wore his cow hat!
Veronica (who maintains the great website "Dave Navarro Is God") started a Dave Navarro webring and this 'lil site is on it! Aren't we proud, kids?
