Tuesday, Sept 21, 1999 Tori performed "1000 Oceans" on "The Tonite Show w/Jay Leno." Apparently, Tori didn't like the first take of her performance, so what aired was actually the second time she played it! She seemed like she might have been tired or not really feeling like talking to Jay... Had funky sparklies in the corners of her eyes, which I assumed were supposed to be like tears. Very nice performance, but not any good shots of the band.
Friday, Sept 3, 1999 Tori performed a few songs on "Good Morning America"
Thursday, August 12, 1999 Tori performed "Bliss" on "The Late Show With David Letterman".
Sunday, Feb. 21, 1999 "VH-1's Storytellers with Tori Amos" On October 24, 1998, Tori taped an episode of VH1 Storytellers in New York City. It was originally scheduled to be aired in Jan, but it was postponed to concur with the Grammys... VH-1's Preview of the Tori Storytellers
February 15, 1999. Tori was on 20/20. The feature concentrated on how many rape victims are helped in so many ways by Tori's music, esp by the song "Me and a Gun." Two survivors storys were accounted, and how they finally managed to survive. The entire feature was very moving. Tori was, as always, beautiful and wonderful in many ways...
February 6, 1999. Tori was on PBS's "In Session." She performed several songs with her band and several solo. She also answered questions with the host. This "In Session" performance was taped on Saturday, November 14, 1998.
