Jeff Buckley

Date of Death: 1997
Cause of Death: Drowned whilst swimming in the Mississippi, Louisiana when
a ships wake pulled him under. Apparently he had been drinking and celebrating
at the time when he went for a night time swim.
Final Resting Place: Unknown, but a memorial is located at Memphis Zoo,
Memphis Tennessee, overlooking the Sumatran Tiger enclosure.
Claim to Fame: Buckley was the son of folk musician Tim Buckley who himself
died an early death from a drug overdose in 1975. Jeff was a Influential
singer/song writer/guitarist who was tragically taken before his peak.
