Cause of Death: Motorcyle crash in Macon, Georgia. Ironically Oakley died
three blocks from where Allman Brothers Band founder Duane Allman was killed
in a similar accident a year earlier.
Final Resting Place: Rose Hill Cemetery, Macon, Georgia
Claim to Fame: Bass player for the Allman Brothers Band
