Date of Death: February 19th, 1980
Cause of Death: He was found dead in the back seat of a car in a London
Street after an all night drinking binge. The actual cause of his death
differs from alcohol poisoning, choking on his own vomit to hypothermia.
Final Resting Place: Fremantle Cemetery, West Australia
Claim to Fame: Lead singer with pioneering Australian group AC/DC. His
gravelly voice and stage antics epitomised what a rock singer was all about.
He died on the verge of international success for the band. However the
band played on and found even greater success with new frontman Brian Johnson
and the tribute album to Bon - 'Back in Black'. Check out the live album
