How They Got Started

The BsB got started with the three original members- Howie Dorough, A.J. McLean, and Nick Carter. They saw each other at the local singing pageants and talent shows, and made the wonderous, very fortunate discovery that they could harmonize quite remarkably. So, they decided to start a group. Then, they met Kevin Richardson through a mutual friend. And Kevin joined the group. But then Kev remembered his cousin Brian Littrel, and that he loved to sing and would fit right in. So that was when B-rok came along.

Why the name?

The Backstreet Boys named themselves after the local market- Backstreet Market. They say if they start feeling too old, they might drop the "Boys" and become "Backstreet". I think it's pretty cool.

Their latest album

Backstreet Boys' latest album is called either "Backstreet's Back" or "Everybody" or just plain "Backstreet Boys". Some of my fave songs on the album include- Everybody (Backstreet's Back); Quit Playin Games (With My Heart); I'll Never Break Your Heart; If You Want To Be A Good Girl (Get Yourself A Bad Boy); All I Have To Give; As Long As You Love Me; and more.
