Celine has proven to be one of the biggest artists of 1998, and hopefully will continue her success in 1999. She has recently received 6 nominations for the 41st Annual Grammy Awards ( see Recent News for details ). She has also won two American Music Awards, including Favourite Female Pop/Rock Artist & Favourite Adult Contemporary Artist. As well, she has taken home Favourite Female Music Performer at the 25th Annual People's Choice Awards. Just as her holiday set, These Are Special Times, was certified for sales of 1 million units in Europe, her last international bestseller, Let's Talk About Love, set a new sales record. In Europe, she became the first female artist in history to sell 9 million copies of an album. The album has still been in the top 40 Charts of many countires throughout Europe, including Britain, Germany, and France. The exact sales worldwide for Let's Talk About Love, as of June 98, is about 22,670,000. Celine really does 'Go On'. |

It has been certified for sales of 800,000 units in Canada, over 3 million in the USA, and over 1 million in Europe.
