Featuring some of L.A.'s best musicians, the album was recorded in the classic soul tradition in a remarkable five days.

Finally, after a long legal battle, the band Spike started after leaving the Quireboys, God's Hotel, has released their debut CD. Joining Spike in this band are Dominique Davalos (who also plays bass in The Delphines and on the Keenen Ivory Wayans Show), Doni Gray (formerly of Burning Tree), and Alex Kane (formerly of LSD). The CD also features Ted Hutt, now the guitarist for Reacharound.
The self-titled CD appears in the UK on Dressed To Kill Records, while in Japan it will be found on JVC Records. Release in other parts of the world is pending, but it can be obtained as an import.
