Here you'll find the translation of the songs of "Vogts villa". Some songs are translated so as to be sung on the music, others doesn't suit so much to the notes.

Introductions to the album "Vogts Villa" (translation by Kenneth H. Nilsen):

This album was created during 12 inspiring days at the uninhabited island Dvergsøya, in the oceangap outside Tømmerstø, Norway. There was neither electricity nor water there, but we raftet out power supply's and guitars and the most essential to survival, including Geir's bicycle.
Mostly the boys kept to their assigned posts and instruments, but after a while it became increasingly difficult to keep order in the ranks. Mike must be mentioned, our engineer, who was always frist up in the morning. One morning he put down the accustic guitar tracks on "Takstameteret Går". Another morning
Ole Sverre , who usually got up when Mike went to bed, got to record his guitarsolo: "Larveføtter" (Catapillars Feet) on "Gammal Og Vis". Other than that; Sissi cooked casserole, and Oksøy island lighthouse lit all night, and so did Ole Sverre.
Afterwards , we traveled to Oslo, along with the tapes, where Elisabeth Moberg put down the choir vocals, Martin Hedstrøm put down extra tracks with guitars, and finally - and at last - Håvard Rem showed up.
Thanks for everything to Lisbeth and Geir and to everybody at Tømmerstø, the janitor Per Kator, and the fisherman "Åge".

(This is actually the same melody as "Lay Me Down Tonight" from the "WildSeed" album. The lyrics are almost identical but in Norwegian. There are some slight alterations. This translation will TRY to make it convincing, but if it turn out to not being to "sing-a-long-able" please just look at the lyric from the "Wild Seed" album).
