CREASE was formed in 1994 in South Florida. In August of 1995, the band released their debut album, "Interference", and soon became a well known band on the South Florida scene. That same year, they were nominated for a Jammy Award for the best independent release of the year for the state of Florida. The band has luckily attracted a whole lotts local media coverage. They have been featured in numerous South Florida magazines and newspapers. Television has been no stranger to CREASE either, as they were featured on WSVN'S (Channel 7) 7:30.  As the band began to gain more exposure, they opened for bands such as Vince Neil, Quiet Riot, The Goo Goo Dolls and Our Lady Peace...all the while fixing up their live show to do on their own one day.  In late 1997, the band hooked up with producer Paul Trust (Al's Not Well). They soon started work on their EP "...six pack shy of pretty". In late August, they released the EP, and less than a week later began getting airplay on South Florida's premier rock station, 94.9 ZETA (WZTA), which led to opening for Dishwalla at that station's Labor Day event. Drummer Eric Dorigo sums it up by saying, "We're willing to do whatever it takes to get our music heard by as many people as possible." The band recently signed a deal with Roadrunner Records, and has completed work on their first major label album, Vindication, which is out in stores June 20, 2000. The CD contains 14 songs, including all new versions of the "...sixpack" songs. Be sure to pick it up, and check the shows page for a tour date near you, soon.
