It started in America's most southern
state,Florida---home of Disneyland and Seaworld--where the sun always shines
and magic's always in the air.
A.J. and Howie bumped into each
other in auditions in Orlando.They were all young,handsome,mad about music
and hoping to make it big in the entertainment world.They discovered interest
in 'acappella'(unaccompanied)singing.To keep the boredom at bay while the
boys waited to show off their talents,they would sing old rhythm and blues
hits a tune they'd just heard on the radio totally unaccompanied.They soon
discovered the world-beating magic in those harmonies and decided to take
things further.
They started harmonizing together
and decided they wanted to add two more band
members to make the harmonies
richer. They were introduced to Kevin Richardson, who at the time worked
at Disney World, as Aladdin. Kevin also liked to sing and he knew someone
else that would love to make this as his career. That very day Kevin called
his cousin, Brian Littrell, in Kentucky and asked him if he would want
to come and join the band. Brian,who was having lessons at the moment,
hopped on the next plane to Orlando, Florida.
