Welcome to the Collectible of the Month page. Here, I will spotlight a piece of Righteous Brothers memorabilia more in-depth. The above photo was taken at the home of longtime fan Carol Slilaty. Here the RB Lady (that's me in the leopard print shirt) showing Carol and a couple of her friends some of the pieces I have collected in the last few years. THIS MONTH'S COLLECTIBLE: Desert Inn Wine List
This month's collectible is a wine list from the late, great Desert Inn in Las Vegas. This item probably dates back to the early 1990's. At that time, the Righteous Brothers experienced a resurgence in popularity, thanks to the use of "Unchained Melody" in the movie "Ghost". Appearing with the Brothers at the Inn was comedian Brad Garrett. Coincidentally, Garrett was hosting the short-lived late night show, "Into the Night", when the Brothers made an appearance in August 1991. Aside from menus, the Brothers' images have graced casino chips, posters and handbills.

Note: It is rumored that the Righteous Brothers were one of the first rock and roll acts to perform in Las Vegas back in the early 1960's.
