Soul and Inspiration

Sheet music to "You're My Soul and Inspiration

Welcome to the Sheet Music Gallery. In their career, the Righteous Brothers have recorded songs by many notable songwriters, from Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, to Carole King and Gerry Goffin, to Alan O'Day. Pictured above is sheet music to the Brothers' biggest hit, "You're My Soul and Inspiration". The record spent 3 weeks at Number One in April, 1966, going on to sell a million copies. The song later was a Top 40 hit for Donny and Marie in early 1978. Originally, "Soul and Inspiration" was the intended follow-up song to "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'". However, it was deemed too similar to the later hit. Instead, "Just Once in My Life" became the follow-up single. If you have any sheet music related to the Brothers, please contact me at: rblady@hotmail.com  . Thank you.

A special thanks to Charlie Harvey for providing the sheet music scans and suggesting this page.
