I highly suggest using software like Getright when you download these compositions. All the songs are in a zipped format, simply point your mouse at an arrow to download. By the way, your computer may see the mp3's as waves, don't panic, they are still mp3's. For some UnGodly reason, I end up getting a .wav extension on the end of Layer-3's in the encoding process. This is part two of the Mr.Gothic saga. You will be able to identify who Mr.Gothic is by the identical samples found in the earlier song. This song is quite a bit differant from the latter song, (Meet Mr.Gothic), as it involves another character, (Mr.Pop), that challenges Mr.Gothic's dark empire. Of course in the end, Mr.Gothic remains in power. This is the largest out of all the downloads, with it being 7.5 megs big. This is a song that was inspired by my friend David Hazeldon from the UK. He was writing a song for his girlfriend & wanted some of my guitar samples. And after listening to his song, I decided to take a stab at creating a guitar track with nothing else but the use of FruityLoops. One of my first works utilizing FruityLoops. A combination of Latin House, & Hip Hop. It's also the first use of any kind of voices in a fruityloops song. I had just "DJ'd" a gig the nite before, & we had some latino dancers perform a 'pre-show' act. I was so impressed that I decided to try my hand at creating my own 'spanish house loop'.
Weird sounds from a Industrial plant in the background make this particular song one of my favorites. As in all my tracks, the voices were created by me, & mangled with a program called Cool Edit Pro. You'll also recognize a particular effect that I love to abuse, the sweeping back & forth sound.
While I was playing my guitar in a park, a child ran into the street chasing after a ball. A car slams on his brakes just barely missing him. The driver yells at the kid, who although shaken up, regains his composure and runs back to the park. I watched him keep playing for another hour or so.
The storm was catching up to us while hiking in the hills, & we found shelter in a run-down shack. Water was dripping in on us on all sides. But the sounds of the splattering water made my head dream up a song.
