BANGALORE: It sure was a long flight from Chelsea, London, but it was indeed, The first night together with Bangalore. And when he started with Back to you, the surging sea of 25,000 plus fans couldn't have asked for more.

Dark clouds raced across the sky two hours before the show, but that didn't stop Bangaloreans from making it to the sprawling Palace Grounds.

Some had got wet to the bone, but there was Adam's to croon Everything I do, I do it for you.

White balloons went up in the air, and the music legend, who looked `as good as 18' in white T-shirt and trousers (with BAD written on his butts) kept the frenzy going till the end.

Even as the rain Gods played hide `n' seek through the show and umbrellas popped out from the crowd, the legend relived the Best of me as he belted his mesmerising numbers out. And the attitude and the impulse of the hysterical crowd got seemingly unreal, song after song.

``Last time we missed Bangalore, but we'll make it up this time,'' he said, as the crowd got rocking to his all time hit, Everything I do, I do it for you. And then there was the Summer of '69, Waiting till I die, Please forgive me, Cuts like a knife, Heavens, I am ready, Only thing that looks good on me is you, and many more. ``Let's wake up Mumbai for the May 7 show,'' he announced.

But the student from Delhi, Akanksha took the cake as she shared the stage with Bryan for When You're Gone. Even as she screamed her way into the mike, Bryan said: ``Here's a future Indian popstar in the making.''

Prior to the show, winners of various contests held in Chennai and Bangalore could not help surging their adrenaline as the superstar signed autographs for them.

Scores of music buffs, who could not make their way into the venue, rocked to the music at the parking lot. Some others were seen on tree-tops and some others, behind the bushes.

City band Antaragni wooed the crowd prior to the Bryan concert.

For DNA, that organised the show, there were no complaints. The event was sponsored by Pepsi, BPL Matrix, MTV and Home Trade.
