The Montreal Concert
My computer-friend, Gina, went to the Montreal (Canada) concert and she told me about it. The following is what she said/wrote. τΏτ

Well the concert was amazing, as predicted. But first, I saw them during the day at an interview at the music studio called MusiquePlus. I took about 20 pictures there but they didn't all come out. Only few actually turned out really nice. They looked awesome. Taylor has his hair cut shorter,
actually it's sorta layered with only one layer. Anyways, it looks really good. I was standing right in front of them, except I was on the other side of the window. There was already a crowd of people when I got there, but by the time Hanson arrived, there must have been about 200 more people that had come to see them. Although people were pushing, I managed to turn around to
try and find my friend's brother, who had somehow managed to get to the back. As I turned to my right, I spotted a man with dark hair and a mustache, videotaping the interview from behind all the fans. At first I didn't recognize him, but then I realized that it had been Walker Hanson. I turned to my friend to tell her that her brother was standing right beside Walker Hanson and we both started freaking out. I guess he must have been videotaping everything for that new tour interview they're gonna have. The interview ended an hour later, and since I knew there was no chance of meeting Hanson, we decided to go home to get ready for the concert.
The concert started at 7:30pm with Admiral Twin as the opening band. They were okay. Do you know the guy who wrote the Hanson Official book, Jarrod Gollihare? Well he is in that band as the guitarist, and you should have seen him jamming along while he was playing. He was dancing along with his guitar, it was really funny. They said they were from Tulsa along with Hanson and as soon as they mentioned Hanson, everyone went beserk.
Finally Hanson came on at around 9:00pm. The curtains were down and suddenly we heard voices from behind them. They started to sing 'Gimme some Lovin' while the crowd screamed and jumped up and down, and as the curtains elevated. They sounded perfect. Taylor was surprised that everyone had those purple and green flashy thingys. They sang most songs from MON and 3 Car Garage. They missed Madeleine, Yearbook and Lucy, to name a few.
While they sang Weird, I Will Come To You and With You In Your Dreams, I waved my lighter around. It was cool cause few people had lighters, and so they were looking at us and smiling. It was so cute. Not many people stood on their chair, because the stupid security guards told us to get down, but I did mostly to take pictures and at the end, while there was light on the audience. I'm sure they saw me cause I was standing on my chair and clapping my hands along with the music, even when the rest of the audience started getting tired of jumping. We thankfully, were allowed to take pictures and I took about 72 at the concert. The security guards would let us go up close sometimes to take close-ups but then we had to go back to our seats. Only the first 3 rows were allowed to stand right up against the stage. I was in the 8th row. Ike did a solo, while Taylor and Zac went backstage. Ike's sang 'More than Anything'. When Tay and Zac came back and sprayed water on us. They dedicated With You In Your Dreams, to their grandmother, which was really
sweet.
They sometimes traded instruments. Ike went to the keyboard and Taylor went to the drums. Did you know that Tay plays the drums on 3 songs on 3 Car Garage? Although he said he wasn't very good, he was to me. Maybe that's cause he looked incredible playing them. While he did that, Zac went to give his drumsticks to a girl in the front. Zac also said, "Who else besides that girl over there (and he pointed to a girl on the side front) has MOE?" It was funny.
They changed the setting, and then Ike was sitting on a couch playing the guitar and the background was like some sort of garage. They played a song which Taylor said had never been played since Mayfest. Often, I couldn't hear what they were saying because the crowd was so loud. I did hear Tay say that we were awesome, amazing crowd. He asked us if we knew how to scream, and then everyone started screaming so he said, just kidding. Walker Hanson was videotaping the concert. He sometimes went on the stage, to close-up on Zac, or he would focus on the crowd. Near the end of the concert, they sprayed more water on us, and shook some girls' hands. As Zac was leaving, he crossed the stage and pointed at everyone saying, "I love you, I love you, I love you......" He was so cute.
I got pictures of them telling us to clap along, or when Ike was jumping in the air. They did three oldies which were very well performed. One part was really funny, near the end, I was jamming while standing on my chair, and suddenly I just jumped off. Well Taylor so happened to see me doing that and he started laughing. He saw me cause the lights happened to be on the audience at that time. Did you ever see him sorta move his head back and start laughing while playing? That was what he literally did after he saw me =)
Have you ever seen them perform 'I Will Come To You' live? Well
at the end, when he says, "I will come tooooooo youuuuuuuu......." and he starts pointing at every one while saying that last part, that's exactly what he did at the concert. I almost melted it was so adorable. They are excellent performers, and I'm so sad it's all over. The concert was kinda
short though. It lasted about 1 hour and 15 minutes. I couldn't believe it was over.
Oh yeah, I just remembered. At the end of the show, people threw those glow-in-the-dark thingys on the stage and Hanson took them and threw some in the crowd and some they kept. Zac threw this one back in the crowd and he shot it really far, so that this girl in the middle jumped up and got it. It was really cool. Everyone tried to catch it though. Have you gone to Hansonline
lately?? Well you can see them talking for a few seconds before entering the stage in Montreal. It's extremely cool!!!!!!
