The 1st release on Garden of Delights was "My World And Welcome To It" by Lonely. A small purple 7" with lots to say. This is strange music not only through the sounds but also through the outlooks and vision of the people who are making it. They speak out against the world and the accepted roles of the people in it, being primarily concerned with issues of gender, feminism and class and of the wider world and its abuse by the human race.
What Lonely are lacking financially they more than make up for in spirit. "Music is something that comes from within" they say. "It is not about how much expensive equipment you can buy or whether you can read funny black symbols on pages of lines, but about expression of yourself, or of the world you see around you". Apparently they have spent the last couple of years working on an album, using their meagre resources. If its anything at all like the 7" it will be well worth the wait.
