Your presence whether it be physical or not
Gives off warmth and love and understanding
That can touch the unreachable souls
The Lord works through you, to crumble walls
Created by others to shield their lives from reality
Your able to see beyond what our carnal eyes see
And open what is well hidden in the normal human,
You see the venerability and give strength to protect
With wisdom that lets us know we're not alone
And clarity to see we have a choice
Thank you for all your caring and help
I feel as though life is easier to overcome
You use the gifts God has granted you with;
With respect and ingenuity, he sees that
You're an angel, he chooses to leave with us!
I respect you for choosing to be who you are!
a cool drop and then another
on the surface of my skin, your touch
a caressing, wet sensation
I stand with arms opened wide
my eyes closed and head held back
waiting for your refreshing wrath
as you fall upon me, I see the drops
build on my shoulders and arms
my skin glows with each tiny rainbow
its as if a cleansing of my soul
heat rising off my skin
removing negativity from within
I stay until you subside
now ready for life's daily chaos
for another minute, hour and day
Watching the leaf flutter down in the
sunlight, as if waving bye to its old life.
The confusion that it brings to mind, all I had to
leave, the torture of waking up tomorrow.
For the best, it's suppose to be but the
questioning of that is likely on the edge of my mind
I want so much, for it to be over; to have that secure
feeling that it will all work out.
The length of time that got me to this point
seems eternal and sufficient enough.
Enough of my life's time spent depressed
and wanting for more, I want to move on.
I know when I'm relaxed, it will happen and
I'll be to busy to even notice.
Learning about myself is the biggest reward,
something that will be mine and no one will get to share.
And of course I'll be a part in this world again
as the dying leaf is, it will be clear soon!

Only one was, and now she's gone
