This was Tessa's initial year of cross country and she came out and shocked the whole team with an 8th place finish at Stinson Beach against the rest of the county. She ran well the whole season, running through a lot of hip and back pain and was a wonderful addition to the 1999 team. Tessa finished 14th in the county finals, and has a promising future in running.
