EMBRACE
All You Good Good People
(Hut)

"... 'All You Good Good People' has been re-recorded and rereleased, and what we have now is, if you will, a rock opera in seven minutes. It is nothing if not ambitious, with a sweeping grandeur and collectivist lyrics that urge people to get on board the good ship Embrace. The voice is emotive, a mistake on one chorus is kept in for feeling, and the vibe is one of the Pied Piper gathering all the kids together, not to lead them to their doom, like the story of old, but to the emotional barricades and to a brighter future."

EMBRACE
All You Good Good People
(Hut)

For the lads from Embrace this will come as a marvellous moment. This year has seen them rise from chart wannabes from Bradford to far and away the most feted band of the moment. Talk of them achieving a similar plateau to the likes of Oasis and The Verve is no idle banter as 'All You Good Good People' demonstrates, a track easily able to give the aforementioned superstars a run for their money. This is actually a kind of public-demand re-release, the single having first been available in a limited edition at the start of this year and was instrumental in getting their name known in the right places. Far and away it is their biggest hit to date, storming past the Number 21 peak of their last single 'One Big Family' which was released in July.
