Once upon a time, there was a little town named San Diego. When going out for fun, everyone went to an area called PB. All the best clubs were there, the dancing, the music, the lights, the fights...everything you wanted from a weekend.
Then everyone grew up.
This is a resource for those of you who, like ourselves, enjoy getting smashed in a bar that's older than your parents. Something about that particular dive bar smell, when the odors of cigarettes and cheap alcohol are so thoroughly embedded in the walls that Leona Helmsley couldn't get them clean.
Please come along on a journey filled with sleaze and glamour, roach pits and unexplored gems, your basic safari into San Diego's Underbelly.

9/21/00 Oh lordy, looks like Joe did it again. For you livewire people coming from the bargoer newsletter, I am NOT any type of local celebrity. Just that guy you always see around that looks familiar but you can't quite figure out why.
