We represent the Eastridge heavy metal and hard rock community. We are a band out of Rochester, New York. We formed in the summer of 1996 under our original name, "painshow", and produced two cuts under that title. Our original cut was entitled "Shape", a keyboard and guitar instrumental that led us to be what we are today.

We have played several shows with our fellow bands "Chariot of Pain", "Toast" (formerly "Foot"), and "Armageddon". We have played several shows with Eastridge backing us. Just this past November 1st, in the Eastridge High School Gym, POUNDSAPALOOZA rocked the house. Granite's Fool opened up the show, followed by newcomers Armageddon playing a few of their greatest. Next was Foot, featuring the former members of Ralooba and Jason and Dave from Fixture on different instruments. Then Fixture took the stage, but unfortunately due to technical difficulties and time restraints, Fixture's set had to be cut short. Next, Chariot of Pain took control and completely amazed the audience. Bughouse's bassist Toby sat in for 2 of the Chariot's covers of Bughouse classics. Poundsapalooza was a great success.

Fixture is now an integral part(not really but we like to pretend) of the RIT and MCC community, also both located in Rochester, New York.

PENNY ARCADE REVIEW

Well, that show on October 18th was one hell of a disappointment. First of all, nobody showed up except for a select few people, and to top it off the soundguys were all stoned and were fucking with our sound. Oh well, if you didnt see it, you didnt miss anything. Be sure to check out the next one though.
