This page is devoted to my furry little friends, the rats. We currently only have 2 girls; Snow and BeBe. I hope to post pictures of them soon. Some people wonder why anyone would want pet rats. They are actually very clean creatures and easy to take care of. Each one has their own unique personality, just like people. I think they are even smarter than my dogs. They love their people just as much as we love them. My rats are very spoiled. I'm always building them new houses out of cardboard boxes. They love to modify them and usually have added some windows and doors of their own within an hour. The girls can get pretty lazy sometimes. Lots of time is spent lounging in their hammock. They hate the rat food from the pet store. If they don't see us eating it, then they won't eat it. People food tastes much better, which I can tell from the way they love to horde little piles of food in my dresser, my parents closet, and under my parents bed. The food is even sorted by dresser drawer. Candy in the bottom, bread on top.

C.C. taking a drink. She always did the coolest things. C.C. stands for Cave Creek, the name of the park where a friend found her. We could trust her to stay out of trouble, so she would get to run around the house all day. She would make her way through the whole house, always stopping to sit with us on the couch, take a nap on my parents bed, or lie on the tile by the front door.

The photographer was a little surprised when I said I wanted pictures with one of my rats. Everyone there loved C.C. She was a good girl and didn't move around too much, but she was glad to go home afterwards.

This is Ratty, a very big girl and mother to many babies. She was a sweet girl and a very good Mom but could be very stubborn when she knew it was time to go home.

TWO (The White One) looking for attention, as usual. She was a hyper little girl and always wanted to get out. She loved to get into mischief and hang upside down from the top of the cage. Two especially loved climbing into peoples clothes and giving kisses.

This was our first hairless rat, appropriately named, Naked. She was probably one the smartest rats I've had and was usually very brave, but sometimes is a total scaredy-rat. She always ffound ways to get into trouble, especially by picking on the babies.

Here's my 2nd hairless rat, Nudie. She had the cutest bald spot on her head when she was little. She would go insane when she got out, and somehow managed to get on top of the curtains and high in the closet. She is the most psychotic and hyper rat I've ever seen. As soon as she found a new way to get into trouble, she taught it to everyone else.
