T.Jay has been singing since he was 4 years old, and he's still going strong today. He first started out actually lip syncing at local talent shows, but as he got more adapted to the stage, he began to actually sing. It was at this time that his parents realized that he had a bright future ahead of him.

T.Jay sang everywhere humanly possible, all the while starting a career in acting as well, where he landed a role in Patty Loveless's music video, "I'm That Kind of Girl." Other acting jobs arose as well, such as a commerical for Union Planters National Bank, and a fitness video for children. As his talent grew, so did his popularity. His biggest gig was to be the headline performer for the Celebrity Quail Hunt in Albany, Georgia. T.Jay sang for several country music stars and legends such as Bobby Bare, John Anderson, and Tennessee Ernie Ford.

T.Jay has won numerous talent shows, including the Loretta Lynn Talent Search, where he has won in preliminary rounds twice, and finished 5th place overall in the Final Round. He also won 1st Runner-Up in the talent division at the Mid-South Models Convention in Atlanta, Georgia.

At about the age of 11, T.Jay decided that sports were really his calling. So, after 7 years in the business, he quit. But he realized that he missed the performing too much, so after a few short years, he returned to singing. T.Jay spends most of his time these days perfecting his singing and practicing high school football. He plays for Dyer County High School in Newbern, Tennessee. T.Jay plays runningback, wide reciever, defensive back, and special teams. He enjoys the game, and would someday like to play football in college.
