All of the girls were packing and outside shoving the suitcases and bags into the car.
No one said much, probaly not knowing exactly what to say. It was the day they never wanted to come, but it had to come some time. They each had their own lives and they needed to get back to them, even if it meant not together.
Nick pulled Amy into his arms and pressed his nose to her cheek. He leaned down further and pressed his lips to hers, then gently guiding his tounge inside passionatly. She tasted the familiar sweetness in his mouth and never wanted it to end. How was she going to do anything without knowing she could fall into his arms at night and he’d make everything alright like he’d always done before? How was she going to get through a day without having him plant kisses all over her face just to show how much he loved her?
“Amy baby, don’t cry,” He kissed away her tear. “I love you so much. In a few months we’ll be together again, and everything will be the same, I promise. Call me as soon as you get home so I know your ok, k?” Nick asked gently.
She nodded as another tear came down. She couldn’t speak. She knew that if she opened her mouth she would break and more tears would fall and she’d never be able to stop them.
They all gave their final hugs and kisses then all the girls got in the car.
Kevin and Jessica hadn’t spoken to each other since last night. “I love you,” He said while gently planting a kiss on her cheek as she got into the drivers seat.
“I love you too,” Was all she said. She didn’t want to go. She needed him. This baby needed him. She needed him to make her do the right thing because she knew she couldn’t do it on her own. “I’ll call you.” Were her last words as she started the car.
Soon they were gone. From Orlando, from the big white house, and most off all, from the arms of the ones they loved, not knowing if they’d ever be back. Spring Break was over.
