Secrets

Tears are falling now from her eyes of crystal blue
Not from her own pain--she's crying now for you.
Like the blackest night, the pain engulfs her heart
It's just the way she is, it's been that way from the start.
Maybe you don't want her there, but she's with you just the same.
Her heart will ache with yours, though you'll never call her name.
She's asked God time and time again to give her strength for you
And He has provided, for He sees His children through.
God places people around us, that we don't always see
But suddenly we turn around, and there they will be.
She was ready to walk away, and then she learned something new-
That one of her purposes in this life is to pray and be there for you.
She's there to mend the pieces of your sad and broken heart
You think that you don't need her, but still she plays a part.
No matter what's going on with you, don't think she won't notice or care
Cause nothing you do will stop her
From always
being
there.
