Walk with me
by Elizabeth
Come walk with me upon this road, I'll journey on with you
I promise that I will not leave, and that we'll make it through
You're headed down the wrong path, so come and walk with me
Let's try to go a different way and with you I will be.
You made a wrong turn somewhere and you tried to make it right
But by yourself you couldn't, though you tried both day and night.
Everybody makes mistakes, it happens all the time.
But if we try our best to fix them, we can make things just fine.
The road is long and hard, but you don't need to walk alone
I will go along with you until the time it's done.
It's more bearable with someone, and things are more fun with two.
So let us start out now and I will walk the road with you.
Always,
Beth
