Alone On The Beach


Alone on the beach I stand in the sand
Wishing for an angel to come hold my hand
At this awesome place where the shore meets the land
I pray for a miracle it doesn't have to be grand.

I'm looking for a sign ... something to inspire
Searching for love my soul is on fire
Waiting for someone so I might inquire
"Why is it that my life is so dire?"

The touch of another is what I crave
Is this what its like alone in a grave?
I keep on waiting listening to the waves
I need a message..one that saves .

I hear the birds their calls are crying
The awful sound is just me...sighing
Alone on the beach I'm not denying
I long for true love and I won't stop trying!
