I Gave Birth To An Angel

I was extremely happy
While you were growing inside
But you stayed only four months
It wasn't for me to decide

You left my body
Way too soon
I imagine you dancing
Up on the moon

A boy or a girl?
I didn't want to know
I couldn't accept it
I didn't want you to go!

Why did that happen?
I didn't understand
But I realize now
It was something God planned

I gave birth to an angel
Not meant for me to keep
That certainly didn't stop me
From a daily weep!

It was a deliverance
A task I was given to do
It makes me feel better
To think Jesus takes care of you

You are my little angel
And when I leave this place
I hope that you will find me
And let me see your face

When Jesus saw this, he was indignant. He said to them,
"Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder
them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
I tell you the truth, anyone who will not receive the
kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it."
And he took the children in his arms, put his hands on
them and blessed them.

Mark 10:14-16 NIV

Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD,
The fruit of the womb is a reward.
Like arrows in the hand of a warrior,
So are the children of one's youth.
Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them;
They shall not be ashamed,
But shall speak with their enemies in the gate.

Psalm 127:3-5 NKJV
