I'm Not Your Woman

I'm not your woman, I'm not your wife
Don't tell me what to do, let me live my life

Mind your own busines when you play your game
I'm not like you...we're not the same

I know I have problems, but I'm not the only one
And when I go out, I just want to have some fun

You have your life to live and I have my own
We spend little time together, most times I'm alone

I don't need you beside me to know that you care
It's the secret love we have, the bond that we share

We both know of the limits and the chances we take
We have to be careful, theres no room for mistakes

I love being with you, those times precious and few
Please know that my heart holds a special place for you

I know you don't like me being alone and sad
But at least I can say that your love I once had

If I get lucky someone will take your place
And then I won't need to hide my face

Loneliness is hard I can't hold on much longer
But every day that passes I'm getting stronger

You know that I love you but we have to be real
Its a dead end road that requires nerves of steel
