A Waterfall of Tears

Emotion hits you
Tears well in your eyes
They overflow
They cascade down your cheeks
Drops off your chin
Drops off your face
A waterfall of tears

That heavy feeling
Now falls to the floor
Your shoulders are
Free from a burden
One less problem
To endure
A waterfall of tears

You now stand erect
You inhale
You exhale
You breathe
You feel much better now
Thanks to
A waterfall of tears
