You think that you know me
But its all just an act
It's the one thing I'm sure of
It's a matter of fact

I have fooled myself
Way too many times
So now down in words
Go these rhymes

All this time
I saw you by my side
But it was only a parallel
And a good place to hide

We're just two actors
Playing things out
Suppresing our true feelings
Living in our worlds of self doubt

We both live behind our walls
Of push and shove
We can't let ourselves feel
This thing called love

You don't know the real me
And I don't know the real you
We're just wasting each other's time
That's what we do
