1. Don't use too big or too small writing when you are typing. ESPECIALLY when you are typing alot! Its very frustrating and people will just [x] out!
2. Use good colors! Cute or artistic! Not just black and white or really bright colors such as background=yellow and font=lime green! People will get a headache trying to read what you wrote!
3. Be very creative! It's your site! Don't try to copy other people or just take all their things! Make your own! Think of fun things to do to keep your visitor busy!
4. Keep everything organized! No one likes a sloppy website!
5. For lots of hits, go to LOTS of people websites and sign their guestbook with NICE comments! (BAD COMMENTS RESULT IN ONLINE ENEMIES!) Don't sign guestbooks with entries like:
"Nice site. Visit mine!" The pereson will eventually visit your website! Do lots of link exchanges! Put your site on add-a-link lists or sight-fights!
6. Keep updating to keep visitors coming back for more!
