| The Second Annual Suntree Rotary Clubs Street Painting Festival is scheduled for March 9th, 2002 |
| This photo, and the photos that are on the following pages were taken at last years Suntree Rotary Clubs Street Painting Festival on March 10, 2001. In this photo you can see a portion of the covered walks that are located within the courtyard of the host sight, Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy High School campus. The covered walks provide a shaded area for the artisits to work in. The concrete walkway provides a good canvas for this art medium. We had 58 artists the first year. Some of the best chalk artists traveled from as far away as Miami Florida to attend. A post festival party for artists, sponsors, and volunteers is held on sight in the air conditioned cafeteria. Not only is this a fund raising activity but, it also provides our community with a cultural art venue. |
