How to Build a WebQuest for EGL440/CEE593 | ||||||
A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented activity in which learners draw most of their material from the web. They were developed in 1995 by Bernie Dodge at San Diego State University. The lessons you've viewed so far are based on this concept. I have created a WebQuest of sorts to demonstrate to you what a WebQuest looks like and to serve as a model for your own WebQuests. I suggest that for each of your WebQuests you create a new Website on GeoCities (as I did) so that the link from your main site goes to the WebQuest without taking up lots of space on the original. The actual WebQuest begins on the next page, so take a deep breath and proceed. |
