Here is a dyno plot that contains 3 different type R's. The Red run is from a type R that was superhcarged by you guys. (has Mugen in & out, & H2O) The Blue run is fron a type R that was superhcarged by this shop (stock with only the JR kit) The green run is of my car after they removed all the crap and did a baseline run on my car stock with the basic JRSC kit. (stock with only the JR kit, exhaust, intake, & high flow cat) |

Here is another plot I just recieved. If you can't read it, the numbers say 179.6Hp and 138.2Tq. The R only has a JR intake. I will try to get a cleaner copy soon. |
Jackson Racing has just unvailed the fix to this problem. The device is called JR Map Controller. This device should fix the top end fuel problem and allow the car to hit higher peak whp numbers. I would expect a type R to hit around 190-200whp with this fix. Also JR has released some new products that might be of interest. NOTE: I havn't tested any of these units yet so results could vary. |
Dyno Cases showing the same Jackson Racing problem over and over again. From about 7000-7500-on to red line the whp and trq drop! The type R tends to run way rich top end which causes this crazy drop in power. |
