March For Life 2004

Thursday, January 22, I went on the March for Life in Washington, D.C. with the PC for Life group.  It was a hopeful and prayer-filled two-day trip that was also a lot of fun.
Above:  The whole group (38 of us) with a contingent of Dominican Friars from the Dominican House of Studies assembled before the March.  Left, Above:  PC for Life in the gladitorial pit after some fierce combat action.  Left, Below:  In one of the most heated contests since Johnny Vineyard vanquished Nitro on AG, I took on the audience's beloved Terrence Sweeney.  Right:  Joe climbed really high on a thin tree before it snapped.  He was unhurt.
Above, Left: The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, where we attended a National Prayer Vigil for Life Solemn Eucharistic Celebration the night before the March.  Above, Center: Father John Paul welcomes us to the Dominican House of Studies at the Catholic University of America for a mass and breakfast (It's pretty sweet having connections.)  Above, Right: We also hung out around the Washington monument before the March.  Below: I went with an awesome group of kids that included Juliette and (most of) the M-DubZ.
